U.S. Muslim Scholars To Forbid Terrorism Too little, too late? Where were these scholars 6 years ago? Perhaps, if they and the scholars in Arabia, who also issued a fatwa agaisnt Terrorism had not buried their head sin the sand for so long, London would not have happened. Padilla would not be held without benefit of counsel, and the World would have been jsut a bit safer and sane. But alas, it took the murder of civilians in London coupled with themurder of nealry 3,000 here in NYC and who knows how many civilians in Iraq for the leaders to say ENOUGH! YE SERVANTS OF IBLIS.
