Enabling her daughter’s unprofessional behavior in a single mouthful!!!

Newsvine - Lindsay Lohan’s Mom Scolds Exec for Letter
LOS ANGELES — A studio executive was “way out of line” for scolding Lindsay Lohan for her absences from the set of her new movie, the teen actress’ mother told “Access Hollywood” in an interview set to air Monday.

Last week, James G. Robinson, CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, chided Lohan in a letter for her behavior on a movie set and doubted her absence was related to heat exhaustion.

“You and your representatives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was ‘heat exhaustion,’” Robinson wrote. “We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called ‘exhaustion.’”

Dina Lohan said the wording of the letter was “ridiculous.”

Poor baby… The studio has quite alot riding on your tosspot brat. Grips, gaffers, props, wardrobe actors, craft services. ALL have jobs riding on her behavior and the behavior of everyone else on the set. The studio had every right to call her on her behavior. Boo-fucking-hoo

News Hounds: Fox News Giving Away Hezbollah Positions?
Fox News Giving Away Hezbollah Positions?
Reported by Judy - July 25, 2006 - 17 comments

Fox News Channel’s video reports from the Middle East may have been airing locations of Hezbollah rocket launchers, helping Israel target and bomb Hezbollah fighters. On “Dayside” on Tuesday (July 25, 2006), reporter Greg Palkot admitted Hezbollah had warned Fox News Channel to stop showing the launch of rockets.

“Dayside” co-host Mike Jerrick alluded to a “directive to the American media, including Fox News Channel. In fact, it started with Fox.” Rick Leventhal, reporting from Kiryat Shmona, Israel, said that Hezbollah had warned the media not to show outgoing Katyusha rocket fire, but referred Jerrick to Palkot for more information.

In Tyre, Lebanon, Palkot admitted, “We have been advised by the Hezbollah miltia here not to show the exact positions where those missiles, those rockets are launched from. Not just us, but other western media organizations, abiding by that. And concerned about the safety of the media here, we’re working within those guidelines. I think we can give you a pretty complete picture of the battlefield here on this side of the border,” he said.

As Palkot spoke, the Fox News chyron read “Hezbollah’s Request,” perhaps wanting to call attention to Hezbollah officials that it was acknowledging their request and agreeing to it. Gee, does that mean Fox News was negotiating with terrorists? Why can Fox News do that, but not the U.S. government?

So, there you have it. FOX is aiding Terrorists. nonstate actors who place the lives of civilinas at risk.

The Spark

There are no sad songs for me,
for I am The Song. I am the light in your heart
and the twinkle in your eye.

I am the Spark in your Soul that Remembers

I
will always remember you Richard Ray Bruno. As a friend, and
co-conspirator. I will always remember your smile, your humor, your
damned Honda 350 with the zebra fabric, and the fact you never took
advantage of a teen with a really bad crush.

The one man I could say “I Love You” to in front of your wife and she wouldn’t be threatened.

What a World, See ListersJuly 16, 2006 9:27 pm

I am reading with sadness, articles posted to leftwing blogs cryingover the bloodshed between Israel and Hezbollah but with all the sympathy to the cowards who use civilian homes as launching pads for ketyusha rockets.  and the residents as shields.  So a few Jews in Haifa, Nasriyah die. They’re only Jews.  A blight on the World who deserve their fate for spurning the Messiah and His Prophet. Jews. Who should have converted to Islam and Christianity and becoem good sheep bleating their submission to unthinking authority.

I can’t post how I feel to booman or dailykos, because I’ll be called a troll. or, the diary will be deleted. After all, Israel is ALWAYS wrong. Never the poor Terrorists, who somehow don’t get the fact that if they areprepresented in a Government, if they attack a neighboring nation, it is an act of War and not simply one of Terrorism.  So, should Israel jsut let its citizens be kidnapped, blown to bits and just follow the leader into extinction?  and if we Jews were todisappear tomorrow, who would you then blame for all the ills in the world?

UPDATE 2-New York Times investigates envelope with powder | Reuters.com
NEW YORK, July 14 (Reuters) - The New York Times (NYT.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Friday it had received in its mailroom an envelope containing white powder, raising fears of a possible recurrence of anthrax-tainted letters sent to newsrooms and other offices in late 2001.

“At about 12:30 p.m. (1630 GMT) this afternoon … an employee opened an envelope that contained a white powdery substance. The envelope was handwritten and addressed to the New York Times, not to any individual. The postmark was from Philadelphia with no return address,” said Times spokeswoman Catherine Mathis.

Voting Rights Act Extensions Pass House Despite GOP Infighting

By Shailagh Murray

Washington Post Staff Writer

Friday, July 14, 2006; Page A01The House yesterday easily approved an extension of key provisions of the landmark Voting Rights Act, after GOP leaders quelled a rebellion within the party’s Southern ranks that threatened to become a political embarrassment. Before the 390 to 33 vote to extend the measure for a quarter-century, the House defeated four amendments that would have diluted two expiring provisions and possibly derailed final passage before the November congressional elections. With the House hurdle now cleared, Senate Judiciary Chairman Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) said he hoped to bring the extension to the Senate floor before the August recess.

Jim Crow was dealt a blow to his return when the Senate voted to extend the Voting Rights Act oover attempts by members of the GOP to emasculate the Act.
