what’s that you say? they’re right? How can that be???? Simple. Take a good look around you. How clean is the street you are walking down? The public restroom you gingerly use? I bet that restroom is pretty nasty. smells like urine, because men aren’t trained to flush the paper they blot their dicks with. paper on teh floor, because the last person was too fucking stupid to know how to operate teh air hand dryer. or, there is no toilet paper - Hey! it’s a PUBLIC toilet. THOSE people from off the street STEAL teh toilet paper. why should we clean it?  yes, man is not evolved from Simians. We live, even revel in our own filth. RATS are cleaner.

Nor is Man an animal. refer tot eh above. Show me a creature other than human living in it’s own shit, and I will show you an creature that is ill.  I will no longer describe my fellow humans in animal terms. It insults the animal.

‘Goodbye, America’

I have endured a lot of smears and hatred since my son Casey was killed in Iraq and especially since I became the so-called "face" of the American anti-war movement. And, especially since I renounced any ties I have remaining with the Democratic Party, I have been further trashed on such "liberal blogs" as the Democratic Underground. Being called an "attention whore" and being told "good riddance" are some of the milder rebukes. I have come to some heartbreaking conclusions this Memorial Day morning. These are not spur-of-the-moment reflections, but things I have been meditating on for about a year now. The conclusions that I have slowly and very reluctantly come to are very heartbreaking to me…

This is my resignation letter as the "face" of the American anti-war movement. This is not my "Checkers" moment, because I will never give up trying to help people in the world who are harmed by the empire of the good old U.S. of A, but I am finished working in, or outside of, this system. This system forcefully resists being helped and eats up the people who try to help it. I am getting out before it totally consumes me or anymore people that I love, and the rest of my resources.

Good-bye America … you are not the country that I love. I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can’t make you be that country unless you want it.

It’s up to you now.

Bomb Plot Thwarted at Falwell’s Funeral

Student Arrested With Homemade Bombs, Three Other Suspects Sought

May 22, 2007 —

Even in death, the Rev. Jerry Falwell rouses the most volatile of emotions. A small group of protesters gathered near the funeral services to criticize the man who mobilized Christian evangelicals and made them a major force in American politics — often by playing on social prejudices. A group of students from Falwell’s Liberty University staged a counterprotest. And Campbell County authorities arrested a Liberty University student for having several homemade bombs in his car. The student, 19-year-old Mark D. Uhl of Amissville, Va., reportedly told authorities that he was making the bombs to stop protesters from disrupting the funeral service. The devices were made of a combination of gasoline and detergent, a law enforcement official told ABC News’ Pierre Thomas. They were "slow burn," according to the official, and would not have been very destructive.

This good christian boy also has a very strange myspace page, where he wants to meet: Jesus, Gen. Douglas MacArthur and OSAMA

The picture he chose doesn’t make him appear all that stable either… and what’s MORE fun? He’s ROTC

Though, this may have had the effect of keeping him OUT of the Army.  But, then again….

Ron Paul does not represent the base…

Michigan

GOP leader wants Paul barred from future debates - NewsFlash - mlive.com COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The chairman of the Michigan Republican Party said Wednesday that he will try to bar Ron Paul from future GOP presidential debates because of remarks the Texas congressman made that suggested the Sept. 11 attacks were the fault of U.S. foreign policy.

Michigan party chairman Saul Anuzis said he will circulate a petition among Republican National Committee members to ban Paul from more debates. At a GOP candidates’ debate Tuesday night, Paul drew attacks from all sides, most forcefully from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, when he linked the terror attacks to U.S. bombings.

"Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we’ve been over there. We’ve been bombing Iraq for 10 years," Paul said.

Anuzis called the comments "off the wall and out of whack."

"I think he would have felt much more comfortable on the stage with the Democrats in what he said last night. And I think that he is a distraction in the Republican primary and he does not represent the base and he does not represent the party," Anuzis said during an RNC state leadership meeting.

Anuzis is working to get Ron Paul disinvited because he makes people think. and we know that The Party has a problem with thoughtfulness. The most telling comment in this is:

"…he is a distraction in the Republican primary and he does not represent the base and he does not represent the party

he does not represent the Party or the base.

Base. an interesting word. In Elizabethan English. If you were "base" you were ‘common’ low, reprehensible, cowardly, selfish, mean. but perhaps the The GOP is all of that. Is indeed base.

Daily Kos: Challenges of the Heart

I want to examine the words of Mr. Godwin, who found Falwell unconscious.

I find Godwin’s words fascinating not only for the euphemisitic quality, but for the many layers of meaning to be found.

This is what he said regarding Falwell’s heart condition: "He had a history of heart challenges."

A history of heart challenges .. what an interesting choice of words. perhaps, it was the challenges to do as his heart told him, for God, or whatever you name the Creative Generative force, speaks from the heart, and not of from pocket that led to this.

A history of heart challenges perhaps, Godwin was taking stock. Nah. It’s as if Godwin couldn’t admit that Falwell had a history of heart disease. Is a diabietic now to be called "glycemic challenged"? Think about his choice. What does it convey? That his bad heart was just an annoyance? or, that he was ‘challenged’ on a deeper, moral level?

What exactly is a "Heart Challenge"? On the spiritual level, it is the call to live by a specific set of ethics that knows no religious constraint or belief. It is that "Golden Rule" first elucidated by Rabbi Hillel:

If I am not for myself, who will be? If I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when? (Pirkei Avot 1:14)

That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow. That is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn."

Both are admonishments to care not only for the Self, but to care for others. For if you don’t care about your own well being, how can you care aobut the welfare of others?

A history of heart challenges A history of heart challenges … perhaps, the graduates would do well to take heed of that phrase.

A history of heart challenges for that is what they will be facing.

A history of heart challenges it is what is facing all of us today as we work to get our Nation back from the heartless.

A history of heart challenges… Are you listening?

LiveScience.com: Deep-Sea Alien Abode Discovered Carnivorous sponges, blind creepy-crawlies adorned with hairy antennae and ribbed worms are just some of the new characters recently found to inhabit the dark abysses of the Southern Ocean, an alien abode once thought devoid of such life. Recent expeditions have uncloaked this polar region, finding nearly 600 organisms never described before and challenging some assumptions that deep-sea biodiversity is depressed. The findings also suggest that all of Earth’s marine life originated in Antarctic waters. Scientists had assumed that the deep sea of the South Pole would follow similar trends in biodiversity documented for the Arctic. "There are less species in the Arctic than around the equator," said one of the study scientists, Brigitte Ebbe, a taxonomist at the German Center for Marine Biodiversity Research. "People assumed that it would be the same if you went from the equator south, but it didn’t prove to be true at all."

the astonihsing array of life found there should give us all pause.

Star hammers CD price rip-off | Herald Sun Neala Johnson May 16, 2007 12:00am Article from: Herald-Sun

A SHOPPING trip has ended in a record label stoush for touring American, Nine Inch Nails rock star Trent Reznor.

In Melbourne for three sold-out gigs that ended last night, Reznor was furious to find his band’s latest album selling for $10 more than other Top 40 CDs.

At his first tour stop in Brisbane, he demanded an explanation from a sales rep from his record label, Universal Music.

"He goes, ‘Oh, because your packaging is a lot more expensive’," Reznor said.

"I know how much the packaging costs — it costs 83c more to have a CD with the colour-changing ink on it.

"I’m taking the hit on that, not them. So I said, ‘It doesn’t cost $10 more’.

"He goes, ‘You’re right, it doesn’t. Basically it’s because we know you’ve got a core audience that’s gonna buy whatever we put out’.

"I said, ‘That’s the most insulting thing I’ve heard. I’ve garnered a core audience that you feel it’s OK to rip off?

Reznor made Universal staff buy their own concert tickets.

I LOVE THE PAYOFF… REZNOR MADE HIS LABEL BUY THEIR TIX. WONDER WHERE THEY ENDED UP?

Newsvine - Expert: Iraq New Epicenter for Al-Qaida LONDON — Iraq has become the new epicenter for al-Qaida cells waging holy war against the West, one of the world’s foremost experts on terror said Tuesday. If the U.S.-led coalition forces pulled out of Iraq now, attacks in Europe would increase and troops would have to go back in two to three years, said Rohan Gunaratna, the head of the International Center for Political Violence and Terrorism Research at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. "The epicenter has shifted from Afghanistan to Iraq," he told a conference of business leaders on how to prepare for terror threats.
