Gov. Arnie is just full of surprises these days:
SFGate: Politics Blog : California’s official Harvey Milk Day “an idea whose time has come”

Harvey Milk Day, a state day to honor the slain San Francisco gay rights advocate, is now official in California thanks to a somewhat unexpected signature Monday from Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has vetoed such legislation in the past.
The bill was one of two key gay rights bills authored by State Senator Mark Leno of San Francisco, who says he’s “pleasantly surprised” that the governor put his pen to both; the other bill makes gay marriages performed in other states legal in California.

and, the haters, true to form:
“Harvey Milk* was a sexual predator of teens, an advocate of polygamous relationships, a public liar, and is in no way a good role model for impressionable schoolchildren,” said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com. “Sadly, children in public schools will now have even more in-your-face, homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination. This provides the strongest impetus yet for loving parents to remove their children from anti-family public schools.”

“’Harvey Milk Day’ teaches children as young as five years old to admire the life and values and the notorious homosexual activist Harvey Milk” said Thomasson. “The ‘suitable commemorative exercises’ that are part of ‘Harvey Milk Day’ can easily result in cross-dressing exercises, ‘LGBT pride’ parades and mock gay weddings on school campuses — everything Harvey Milk supported.”

I bet they have lionized and canonized his and Mayor George Moscone’s assassin, Dan “I’m quitting” White, though when a search for “dan white” on the “Save California” website turned up this:

And, now, they conspiracy broadens:

DINA ROSENDORFF: And looking at the fake Kenyan birth certificate what do you make of it?
DAVID JEFFREY BOMFORD: It’s definitely a copy of my certificate. It’s so laughable it’s ridiculous.

Methinks Mr. Bomford doth protest too much…and just when was it determined that the Kenyan BC was a “fake”? That’s news to me!

This “interview” could be part of the entire effort to deceive. Mr. Bomford deserves some further looking into.

So, now, the After Tea Birthers believes Australia (or a Citizen thereof) is part of the “Conspiracy” From just ONE FORGED “Kenyan” BC, we now take you to A SECOND Kenyan BC. over at “FREEP” are now claiming there’s a forgery of the forgery - hilarity ensues:

Freom Calpernia:

There are now modified photos of the COLB that broke here yesterday. The changes are so slight, that no one is noticing them.

The changes are so subtle, you can barely tell which one you are looking at.

The original one does not say EF Lavender, it says KF Lavender. The original one shows the number is: 47,644.

We will return to our After Tea Birther whackery after this message:

I hear that this kind of thing was done on the “Majestic” papers, regarding UFOs and the government’s involvement in it. It was debunked as false, because the government put out forged papers to cover up the *real papers* and then the “UFO group” did the debunking for the U.S. Government, regarding the government’s involvement and cover up of the UFO issue…

So, it apparently has been done before on the UFO issue…

[And a little disqualifier here (or qualifier, if you will) — that I don’t support the UFO theory or idea, but have been in enough discussions about it and see what was written to know that’s what they “say” about “Majestic” papers and one group fighting against another group, as to whether it’s valid or not… LOL… ]

#5733=The number of the Certificate, is code for : “Problem with Windows REGISTRY”, a sly reference to your claim that Obama does not appear on the Hawaii Live Birth Registry.
Idiot.

Saudi family sues genie, alleges harassment - CNN.com

(CNN) — A family in Saudi Arabia has taken a genie to court, alleging theft and harassment, according to local media.

The lawsuit filed in Shariah court accuses the genie of leaving them threatening voicemails, stealing their cell phones and hurling rocks at them when they leave their house at night, said Al-Watan newspaper…

“We have to verify the truthfulness of this case despite the difficulty of doing so,” Sheikh Amr Al Salmi, the head of the court, told Al-Watan. “What makes this case and complaint more interesting is that it wasn’t filed by just one person. Every member of the family is part of this case.”….

“We began hearing strange noises,” the head of the family, who requested anonymity, told Al-Watan. “In the beginning, we didn’t take it seriously, but after that, stranger things started happening and the children got really scared when the genie began throwing stones.”…
In Islamic cultures, a belief in genies, or jinns, is common.

Genies not only appear in pre-Islamic fiction such as “Arabian Nights,” but are also mentioned in the Quran.

Many Saudis believe invisible genies live among them and are capable of demonic possession and revenge.

OK. So, a genie is no different for a Poltergeist… How old are the kids? there was, in 1682, an report of a “stone throwing Devil” or Lithoboliathat tells of a Stone throwing demon. Islam. Christianity So modern, they’re mediaeval.

In my last posting, I described ways of securing your computer. Here, I give you a pressing reason why:

Botnet worm in DOS attacks could wipe data out on infected PCs | Security - CNET News
The denial-of-service attacks against Web sites in the U.S. and South Korea that started last weekend may have stopped for now, but code on the infected bots was set to wipe data on Friday, security experts said.
There were no immediate reports of any of the compromised PCs in the botnet having files deleted, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t happening or won’t in the future, said Gerry Egan, a product manager in Symantec’s Security Technology Response group. (Click here for Larry Magid’s related podcast with Symantec expert.)
There are only about 50,000 infected PCs around the world being used in the attacks, which is relatively small compared to the millions that were infected with Conficker, he said.
The attacks started over the July 4 weekend launching distributed DOS attacks on dozens of government and commercial sites in the U.S. and South Korea. The attacks, which resurged during the week at least twice, affected sites including the White House, the Federal Trade Commission, the Secret Service, and The Washington Post.

Securing your computer is now a matter of Homeland Security, and National Defense.

They were my men. I gave them orders in reaction to U.S. drone attacks,” Mehsud said by telephone from an undisclosed location.

Survey Reveals Americans’ Feelings about Wicca

(Ventura, California)- As Americans make lifestyle transitions needed to restore the nation to stability, the nation’s adults are demonstrating their willingness to accept religious perspectives and groups that conflict with some of their core beliefs and lifestyle practices. A new national survey conducted by The Barna Group shows that while many adults are not familiar with Wicca, nearly half of the adult population has reserved having an opinion on that religious group even though its best-known practices directly contradict the religious faith that they personally embrace.

UPS Driver Used “Terrorist” As Name Signed For Package

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A UPS driver wrote “terrorist” as the signed name for a delivered package, according to the UPS Web site.

Blbar Singh, a Sikh, signed for the package that was delivered to his son’s house.

The family was looking on the UPS Web site for their second package that had not yet come, when they stumbled across the “signed by” section of the package screen.

They found that it was labeled “terrorist.”

I sincerely hope that UPS drops that temp agency, and that the agency fires the jackass who labeled this man falsely
